I trained at this hospital during my geriatrics fellowship 25 years ago. It has gone through many iterations since then. Now, Minnesota has given it the green light for acute psychiatric care.

Concerns about its (in)ability to relieve acute care are mostly short term. It’s a win in the long term for the state.
