…So, apparently, these irregular verbs are pretty commonly used in French, of course. So, this is an area that requires nothing but the strictest memorization on all fronts. Not just the present tense. These verbs are: aller, apprendre, avoir, connaitre, croire, devenir, devoir, dire, etre, falloir, dormir, faire, entendre, lire, mettre, obtenir, ouvir, peindre, voir, savior, and pouvoir. (There are at leat 80 others, but they follow the aforementioned verbs in systematic conjugation patterns based upon suffix.) Um, yeah.
